Meet Erin Mahoney

Erin is currently Director of the Dirty Water Fitness Nutrition Coaching Program, an NASM Certified Personal Trainer, and an M.S. degree candidate at Simmons University. She has spent the past nine years promoting good food, nutrition and health habits. With an “all foods fit” philosophy and a belief that food and exercise should be fun, joyful parts of life Erin specializes in reframing what healthy living looks like.

A Boston-area native, Erin graduated from the University of Vermont with a B.S. degree in Nutrition and Food Science. While in college, she was a Spoon University Community Manager and Food Blogger. On graduation lived in Spain for nearly two years, fully immersing herself in the healthy, simple and flavorful Mediterranean diet.

In her spare time Erin mentors local youth, as a Girls on the Run International coach and as a Youth Enrichment Services for Boston Kids (YES) volunteer ski instructor. After competing in 10 half marathons, she ran in her first full marathon, the Vermont City Marathon, in May 2022.

Erin has spent several years working as a counselor for clients with eating disorders. Through this experience she affirmed her belief that balanced living and healthy connections with food are fundamental to achieving sustainable and long-lasting results.
